Artist and designer Taka Hayashi and his upcoming work with Vans on a 2009 fall/winter season is previewed here. The two entities came together in hopes of creating a union of styles between 60s Italian footwear as well as themes of Native American culture and the military. This initial look features an interesting design as Vans is continually exploring new footwear opportunities beyond their usual classic models. A release date has been mentioned for August 1st, 2009 but stay tuned for more details.
