The world wide phenomenon of Hello Kitty is set to hit Hong Kong later this month with the upcoming Black Wonder event. As part of the festivities, SiLLY THING and sister-label Chapel of Dawn are stepping in for a special fashion related collaborative effort. Aside from knowing its a garment, details are few and far between. Stay tuned for more information.

Hong Kong lifestyle initiative SiLLY THING are in the midst of creating their own line of incense with Kuumba International. Well known for both incense and fragrances, Kuumba International has been purveyors of various scents with numerous brands. The sticks of incense will be available upon the re-opening of the SiLLY THING store which is currently undergoing renovations.
From SiLLY THiNG’s new publishing department comes their first SiLLY THiNG book which was done in conjunction with the brand, Maison Martin Margiela. There currently isn’t much details on this interesting project but the book goes on sale today at most major book stores in Hong Kong. If you happen to have access to a bookstore in Hong Kong, do check out this new book.
Dita Eyewear was started by Jeff Solorio and John Juniper in 1996 and have worked with top designers in Japan including Undercover, Roen and Hysteric Glamour. The latest collaboration is with Hong Kong’s SiLLY THiNG on a pair of sunglasses. The owner of SiLLY THiNG, TK, has gave us a sneak peek of the sample sunglasses. Stay tuned for more information.
Juno of Hong Kong lifestyle brand SiLLY THING has teamed up with Japanese jewelry and accessories label JAM HOME MADE on a pair of sunglasses. The new direction of SiLLY THING has been foreshadowed by many as ST looks to present a more mature aesthetic, which is signified by this collaboration. No word yet on a release date but be on the look out for more photographs.
Most North American’s most likely won’t bat an eye at this recent Double Quarter Pounder promotion done by McDonalds Hong Kong in conjunction with Hong Kong lifestyle brand SiLLY THING, then again North American women don’t look like pre-adolescent boys either. This is by all means a big burger in the land of 130 lbs pinners as we hope Hong Kong women devour these in droves in hopes of developing some curves.

Kazuki from Fragment Design has lately been working on production for SiLLY THiNG’s new season. For the new collection, SiLLY THiNG will gradually be changing their style to more of a mature style by creating items like buttons ups shirts. They have also sourced quality fabrics from places like Japan and Europe.
