If you ever feel the need to truly pamper yourself during your workouts, then you can’t go wrong with these Louis Vuitton towels and headbands. The towels come in white with LV lettering and pattern. The headbands and armbands come in a beige color with similar patterns. We can’t say that it will soak up more sweat than regular gym towels, but when has it ever been about practicality? Gucci | Louis Vuitton x Diddo Velema Gas Masks

Gucci | Louis Vuitton x Diddo Velema Gas Masks

Without a doubt, the rich will still find it necessary to wear luxury items even during a gas attack. Check out these novelty masks supposedly from Diddo Velema in collaboration with Gucci and Louis Vuitton. These jewel encrusted, monogram basted pieces will assure the survival of the richest the day someone decides to push the button. Editor’s Note: Diddo Velema contacted us to clarify a few things. The gas masks were created purely as an art project to highlight the underlying societal climate that demands consumption, and not an official collaboration of any sorts. More information can be seen through the Diddo Velema website and through a note seen below. Designer Gas Masks is a conceptual art project. The masks are not real commercial products. They are designed to be displayed in magazines and exhibited at galleries. They are not for sale. The brands used to visualize the concept have been done so without their permission. However, as the artist, I am not responsible for any copyright infringements that may result from the publication/display of the masks. Source: Complex

With all the interest surrounding Murakami’s most recent showing at the Brooklyn Museum and last years popularity of his Louis Vuitton branded products at the Los Angeles MOCA, another range of products will be available this time around. Revoling around designs combining LV’s popular monogram picture and with imagery of camo, the end product Monogramouflage will be seen over a variety of products and leather goods. The items will release January 1st at the Brooklyn Museum with a further release slated for June 15th at LV Stores worldwide. In an ironic move, a series of 10 booths will be set out in street vendor style as purveyors of the LV products. Before we posted about the Murakami’s exhibition at the Brooklyn museum, and tonight is the opening night for special guests which will include a performance by the Louis Vuitton Don, Kanye West, and the usual 550 sq. ft. Louis Vuitton boutique. However, this event is special because authentic Monogramouflage canvases and LV hangbags will be sold on the streets outside of the museum, mocking the usual street vendor counterfeiters. Louis Vuitton has taken a bold and clever step against their counterfeiting enemies as the CEO of Louis Vuitton, Yves Carcell, told WWD, “We think that by highlighting it in a happening way and not in a boring way, it will make everybody more aware.” This will definitely be an unique shopping experience, buying thousand-dollar-bags off street vendor carts. Louis Vuitton First Television Ad Campaign

Louis Vuitton First Television Ad Campaign

We’ve recently seen Louis Vuitton’s ad starring Pharrell Williams for the LV-Blason Jewelry. Now for its new and first television ad campaign, LV is shifting a bit from their luxury image to a more adventurous one. The tone of the ad is more philosophical too asking, “What is a journey?” With collective images from around the world of people, nature, and cityscapes (with a little image hint of an LV bag), this ad is Louis Vuitton’s most emotional one yet. The campaign comes from the Ogilvy agency in Paris. You can watch the ad here.
