Joshua Kissi is an American blogger, photographer and artist who forms one half of the style blog Street Etiquette. Raised by Ghanian parents in the Bronx, Kissi recalls being influenced by his parents’ colourful yet smart dress sense from a young age. Despite originally studying for the medical field, Kissi abandoned plans to become a doctor and took on Street Etiquette as full-time occupation. Street Etiquette prides itself on placing style in a cultural and historical perspective. Since its creation in 2008, Street Etiquette has been hailed as a leading style blog by many influential publications, including The New York Times and GQ, and is now a men’s lifestyle website turned creative agency. SE has also undertaken several creative collaborations, including designing espadrilles for Soludos and creating a “Black Ivy” t-shirt line.
