F.C.R.B. Black Series

F.C.R.B. has released a new capsule of products under the title of Black Series. The name is pretty much indicative of what you’d expect with a number of designs and features that revolve around black t-shirts and hats. The designs are logo-driven and represent F.C.R.B. as a casual offering relative to more sophisticated releases such as SOPHNET. and uniform experiment.

Following up on the aesthetics of the Multi Gingham Check Shirt, Hirofumi Kiyonaga’s F.C.R.B. has released another similar product. The Multi Basic Polo Shirt features solid body panels in different colors, separated along the center of the shirt. The SOPH. Shop exclusive will release May 30th.

SOPHNET. | FCRB 2008 Spring/Summer Collection

As Hirofumi Kiyonaga’s crown jewels, the creation of SOPHNET., FCRB and Uniform Experiment represented a neat and precise way to offer varying degrees of refinement and style. Although there is some overlap amongst the three brands, many would say SOPHNET. is situated in the center as FCRB and Uniform Experiment offer something more casual and refined respectively. Here’s a look at some of SOPHNET. and FCRB’s offerings for 2008 spring/summer. FCRB leads the way with obvious sports influences while SOPHNET. comes through with polos and knits. The collection is available now at select SOPHNET. and FCRB dealers.

F.C.R.B 2008 Spring/Summer Collection "Changing"

F.C.R.B has recently updated their website with a changing gallery that allows you to see how the pieces will fit on one of their previous action figurines. This is definitely one of the most interactive yet practical website ideas out there. It truly allows you to see the different combinations you could create with the shirts, blazers, pants, shorts, and even backpack. Their 2008 S/S Collection includes a good mix of technical sportswear and practical casual clothing. It features a tailored jacket, skull tee, tour emblem polo, tour chino pant, and tour half pant all with graphics by Dr Romanelli. It also has their usual performance-based warm up suits and dri-fit shirts that will keep you focused during your game. Check out the website and collection at F.C.R.B.

Despite the worldwide popularity of football/soccer, ironically this has rarely translated well into the fashion world with only a small handful of brands achieving the grade such as FCRB. Although not an accurate portrayal of their brand identity, a small collection of accessories have released from the brand including keychains, mobile phone straps and those questionable exercise balls. Available now at Honeyee Store.
