The collection is a result of 10.Deep’s own interpretations on 80s NY Hardcore, DIY aesthetics and youth rebellion. Marked by hard lined graphics, the collection also includes special cut and sew items including button-downs, yarn-dyed fleece and custom camo prints. In a bold move, Nike has taken the initiative to create a series of sport specific performance footwear models for all types of events and sports. While in the past, footwear for select sports including equestrian, archery and sailing were without the backing of large and established sporting brands, Nike has overlooked few sports in this Olympic collection. Their collection slated for the 2008 Olympics extends from the aforementioned events to also include weightlifting, taekwondo, BMX, badminton, fencing and running events. Look for these on the feet of the world’s stars this summer.

The launch event for the Damien Hirst x Warhol Factory x Levi’s collaboration featuring art meets consumerism took place this past Saturday. The event featured lavish displays of denim, splashed furiously with multiple colors of paint outliving their purpose as apparel and reaching into the legion of art. One pair of denim was allegedly priced at $80,000 USD. The pop-up shop is currently open at Santa Monica’s Fred Segal Man.

To celebrate the Casio G-Shock 25th Anniversary, the Japanese electronics company will drop a big event in New York City. Tokyo-based photographer Yasumasa Yonehara aka Yone will be there to present his campaign for the new G-Shock line with his trademark sultry photography. Artists such as Kanye West and Pharrell Williams will also be in attendance during the May event.
