Sharing the same warehouse building, Mishka quickly developed a friendship with artist JK5 which was spurred by common hobbies. The two embarked on a special Spring collection which among the pieces are a New Era fitted cap seen here as well as other apparel set to release in mid-February.

The Hundreds will be releasing a bright ass pinwheel version of their Adam Bomb New Eras later this week. I ain’t no Miss Cleo, but I think I know how these will sell on release day. The Hundreds has done a job unlike any other with their brand and magazine. These caps will be available Thursday, January 10th at The Hundreds (Los Angeles), Cap City (New Jersey) and Fitted Hawaii (Honolulu).

Subcrew’s latest project involves a new retail location in Taiwan. To commemorate the upcoming store, a series of new items were created in-line with some of Subcrew’s most popular styles. Among the releases are a “We Are The Subcrew” mesh cap, DJ MYKAL X DJ BECAREFUL “Unity” mesh cap as well as Unity is Power t-shirts and hoodies and double ring belts.
For the fitted cap, the last few months saw an increase in the number of Elmer Fudd-like flap caps for the colder winter months. Among them are some new renditions of the UNDFTD strike through logo, which recently dropped at Dedue. Subtle colors include black and blue. Check your local UNDFTD dealer for availability.
Japanese skate and fixie collective T-19 has just released a series of Umpire styled caps with short brims on New Era caps. The script T-19 logo features a MLB-esque logo on the back. Two colors in houndstooth and blue are available at Ginzi’s Choice.
A selection of New Era 59Fifty fitted caps have released as part of Upper Playground’s 2008 January Winter Collection releases. The three caps all feature designs by familiar Upper Playground associates, the Date Farmers, Jeremy Fish and Nunca. Check your local Upper Playground dealer for availability as well as online through Upper Playground.
Leaders 1354, a sneaker boutique located in Chicago, has been making some popular New Era caps last year. This year, they will be once again working with New Era to release a Nike “Agassi” Air Tech Challenge inspired 59fifty fitted cap. The hat will feature a colorway similar to the shoes. Unfortunately here’s only a sneak peek of what’s to come. You will have to wait until April to get this fitted.

The boutique based out of Fairfax, LA that sells mostly hats has released five new 5 panel caps utilizing different types of materials. These materials feature patterns including an unique purple cracked woven pattern, a houndstooth pattern which has been ever so popular this year, a dogstooth pattern and the classic plaid pattern. Flying Coffin has previewed one of their New Era 59Fifty fitted caps set to release in late spring alongside another yet to be revealed cap. The stack logo is seen on a gray body, with metallic silver, purple and black embroidery. This hat will be releasing in April.
Burton has outfitted their logo with the use jewels to create this Iced Out New Era 59Fifty Fitted Cap. The entirely black cap includes a satin dice lining and a special cap carrying case as well. Available at select Burton dealers and Tactics.

Billionaire Boys Club aka. BBC and Ice Cream which is a label under the helm of Pharrell Williams and Nigo (A Bathing Ape) will start releasing some of their 2008 Spring/Summer products starting January. The new items include a BBC Trump Jacket, a pair of BBC Neon Denim, an Ice Cream IC Smile Sweater and New Era Fitted Cap, a BBC Trump Bandanna, and an Ice Cream Parka. All items will be available at the BBC/Ice Cream stores in New York and Hong Kong as well as various dealers.

The label Mishka had the chance to design some NHL inspired New Era fitted caps for Cap City. Three hats were produced using some old classic NHL team logos including the New Jersey Devils, The Vancouver Canucks and the Minnesota Northstars. Other than the New Jersey Devils, both Vancouver and Minnesota have changed logos. The Vancouver Canucks currently utilize a Orca logo while the Northstars are the Dallas Stars.
