HUF, the San Francisco based boutique/label which was founded by pro skater Keith Hufnagel has recently just released some New Era Fitted Caps. The Herringbone and Houndstooth pattern are really “in” this year so what HUF did was to combine these popular patterns and the New Era Fitteds to create something quite unique. Some recent releases from skate and lifestyle brand Supreme has yielded two collections of their popular 5 panel box caps. Both the Window Pane and Glen Check caps are available in three colorways at select Supreme dealers such as Ginzi’s Choice.
Online magazine/store front Fatlace has just produced samples of an upcoming Ripstop 5 Panel. Plain black caps are something you can never go wrong with and should make a good addition to the store. Stay tuned for more details.
As release after release of fitted caps are being churned out, Elm Company represents something a bit different from your regular array of caps. Their 2007 Holiday Collection has recently been released and includes three new styles, the Mercer Denim, Flocked Denim and Distressed Leather. Between numerous design gigs, well known designer Benny Gold found the time to create his 2007 Holiday Collection. The t-shirt includes New Era 59Fifty fitted caps and t-shirts. Some of the inspirations include San Francisco, Miami and Gold. Available at HUF on December 22nd.
Japanese brand Tyo Empire got their start in 1998 in what was then an up and coming store Bounty Hunter. Behind the guidance of its musically talented creative director, Takayoshi Shirakawa, Tyo Empire has sustained over the years thanks in large part to its casual and diverse styles. This brand concept enables buyers to wear their apparel in a variety of different settings. Fitted cap purveyors Official recently dropped their Traditional Shemagh Series of caps. Each cap features materials individually cut from traditional scarves and colorways. The fabric is then sewn onto Official’s Incoronare silhouette. Both caps can be ordered directly through Official. All orders processed between now and December 25th will be tax-free and shipped free of charge.
In an effort to benefit the non-profit sports organization; Stoked Mentoring, the Agenda Tradeshow has collaborated with six of the industries most respected labels and boutiques. The collection debuted in San Diego on September 7th at the Agenda Trade Show and the first installment of 59FIFTY includesc ontributions from Commonwealth, 10 Deep, Crooks & Castles, GOODS, In4mation, and DC Shoes. The Agenda New Era caps are now available at Commonwealth, priced at $50 USD each.

For the second installment of the Acapulco Gold Holiday lineup, the New York label has gone with a flower motif. Made on heavyweight Canadian fleece, the Flower Zip Up Sweats use cut twill letters with contrast embroidered flowers. The New Era Flower Cap takes the Classic AG logo and gives it the same twist, with the flowers running around the front and back of the cap. For the first set of decks this holiday, Acapulco Gold looked to the “B.I.G.” Bear for inspiration and came up with a perfect combination. The decks come in 7.75” and 8” and are made in the USA. Crooks & Castles will debut this lone 59Fifty New Era cap as part of their 8021 Collection on opening day of their first flagship store. The 8021 Collection is named after the address of the flagship store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. The Big Link cap is marked by a thick gold embroidered logo on the front and an 8021 patch on the back.
