Vans Classic 2008 Fall Collection

With slim silhouettes at a pinnacle for popularity, Vans has enjoyed a great deal of success. Their classic profiles have been as relevant as ever with a solid release set for 2008 fall collection. A mixture of both bold patterns characteristic of the DIY days of Vans when your own choice of materials could be applied as well as solid colored offerings are on hand. Despite the usual releases on hand here like SK8-HIs, Eras, Slip-Ons etc, look for more original releases to pop up soon into the Vans roster. Available now for pre-order at ripe.

Vans 2008 Summer Collection

Off the beaten Vans path of Half-Cabs, Chukkas, Eras, Authentics and SK8-HIs emerge these lesser seen models from the historic Vans skate brand. The whole collection of footwear seen here feature some muted colorways on some lesser seen models such as the Cojo, Half Crepe and Sea Captain. On the whole, these are a distinct step away from the classic skate shoe aesthetic into arguably a more refined look. Available now at ripe.

Vans Vault 2008 Fall Collection

Much like the Syndicate series, the Vans Vault series has gained notoriety as Vans’ launching point for some the brand’s more liberal aesthetics. 2008’s fall collection yields much of the same as select team-ups are complimented by the use of materials often seen as a rarity on Vans. One of the more interesting concepts are the use of checker dyed pony hair uppers. Look for these to start relaeasing later this summer at select Vans Vault dealers.
