Ron English is an American Contemporary artist who explores brand imagery and advertising, best known for combining expert draftsmanship with cynical, humorous critique of American culture. POPaganda is one of his trademark fusions, which blends high and low imagery, mixing superheroes and comic strips with art historical iconography. Legendary pop-artist Ron English has reappropriated a classic portrait of former American president Abraham Lincoln in the likeness of Obama.
