Description

Edson Sabajo is the co-founder and co-owner of popular Dutch streetwear boutique Patta, alongside Gee Schmidt. Having met Schmidt at a stint at Fat Beats, the duo eventually founded Patta in 2004 as a platform from which to sell their footwear pickings from overseas trips. First experiencing financial difficulties in its initial years, Patta eventually came to be recognized as one of the premier sneaker boutiques in the world. However, a merger gone awry with sister store Precinct 5 led to Patta being closed in July 2012, before opening in a new Amsterdam location three months later. Sabajo currently lives in Amsterdam with his wife and two children.
