Description

Created by Daisuke Obana after years of business in the vintage clothing industry, N.HOOLYWOOD is a label of high-end modern menswear with retro-inspired designs. The label’s name is a combination of the abbreviation for the word “North”, and a play on the words “Hollywood” and “hooligan”. The initial inspiration for the label came from Obana’s reaction to dealing with people who viewed value in vintage items based solely on the conditions of them being in good condition, or that they were “old age”. N.HOOLYWOOD’s clothes are well-known for their concept of taking old/retro fashion motifs, and adding to them modern twists to create “something truly different”; they also are often based off of particular themes. Obana’s designs are often worn by famous Japanese actors.
