By 1975, Armani launched his eponymous label for men, and a year later, delved into the world of womenswear. The designer became renowned for reshaping women’s professional clothes, swapping drab floral patterns of the ‘70s and putting them in empowering, chic, deconstructed suits in the ‘80s. Today, the designer has various sub-brands including Emporio Armani, Armani Exchange, Armani Jeans, Armani Exchange A/X, and Armani Collezioni.

The high fashion meets electronics company collaboration has claimed another victim as Giorgio Armani and Samsung have teamed up together on a new phone. Just recently Samsung also partnered with adidas on a new training system phone. The Giorgio Armani sports a slim 10.5 mm thickness with a bundle of features including a 3.0 MP camera, music player function and microSD card expansion. The phone will also come packaged with an exclusive leather case as well.
The latest cross-branding of haute couture fashion and mobile cellphones is Italian label Giorgio Armani teaming up with Korean electronics giant Samsung to create a product set to debut in November. From a technological viewpoint, aesthetics are reinforced by a 3 MP camera, 2.6” LCD display, GPRS/EDGE Tri-Band (900/1800/1900) as well as various multimedia features. Other associated products will also include a line of televisions. This project follows on the heels of previous collabo mobile phones such as D&G x Motorola and Prada x LG.
