New Era is an American headwear brand, founded by German immigrant Ehrhardt Koch, in 1920. The brand was chosen as the official on-field cap of the National football league, as well as being named the headwear and apparel licensee for all eight teams of the Canadian Football League.

Upper Playground has made it a monthly task of releasing a fresh set of New Era 59FIFTY fitted caps designed by their talented cast of associate artists. Up to the plate for the month of April are Jeremy Fish (SuperFishal), Sam Flores and The Date Farmers. Available for sale through Stone House Digital.
We have previously shown you the t-shirt and Polo shirt offerings from this new label. Today we bring you the New Era caps from their Spring/Summer 2008 collection. There are three in total, two logo driven offerings and one of them using the monkey/worm image that appears on the Polo shirts. Each cap have nice little details and are available now at www.boundlessny.com.
Here’s a selection of caps representing New Era’s April range of releases. The themes range from music inspired releases such as the Music Maker and the Turntable to more retro inspired releases. Available starting April 1st at New Era UK.
A new shipment of Crooks & Castles fitted caps have hit Caliroots. Marked by some clean colorways, two styles include a cusrive Crooks & Castles design while the other one features a new rendition of the Big Link design from the past. Available now in the Caliroots store.
To celebrate Leilow’s upcoming new store opening, the store has teamed up with Surf Line on a New Era 59FIFTY. The two styles are comprised of vintage Hawaiian shirt fabrics as a tribute to Leilow’s Haywain roots. The two colors include faded blue and faded yellow.

Recon has just released two new styles of their fitted caps online. The two styles include the Dodgers inspired Dodging cap as well as a Snakeskin Barb logo cap. Available online at Recon with a price tag of $40 USD.
One of California’s institutions for over 10 years, True will release a special pack of New Era 59FIFTY fitted caps to correspond with the theme of Easter. The caps are broken up into three groups, Black Spring, Easter Formal and New Color Block. They are set to release this Saturday, March 22nd at the True East Spring Fever BBQ with an online drop slated for March 24th at True.

An all new set of New Era 59FIFTY fitted caps are set to drop today at HUF. Three colorful plaid joints will be releasing just in time for Spring. These come as a follow-up to last month’s similar plaid release both sharing that iconic H logo.

Acapulco Gold announces the release of their 2nd round of AG Swirl New Era caps. For those who missed out on the first round, these are the last colors in the series and will be available in store at select retailers such as Union, Livestock, and Commonwealth next week. In other Acapulco Gold news, over the winter AG and team skater Billy Rohan got together with Open Road of New York, The Gonz (Krooked), Vans, and Supreme to open a skatepark at 12th and A in Downtown NYC. A skateboarding contest series is in the works with the first event dubbed “The King of Spring” which will be held on Sunday April 20th. Check out Billy Rohan and friends at the spot on EXPN.
Part of the Stussy x Futura “Destiny” collection is this new “Skullacon” series which include a New Era Fitted Cap and a pair of swim shorts both decorated with colorful Skulls designed by Futura. The trucker cap fad was huge in the States years ago thanks to celebrities like Ashton Kutcher. Eventually the trucker cap was replaced by the Fitted Caps and this style of headwear is still going strong in the States. However in Asia, the trucker caps paint a different story. Although the Fitteds have slowely emerged into the Asian market, majority of hat wearers still go for the trucker. So to satisfy both fitted and trucker cap fans, New Era has decided to team up with UNDFTD to create this Strikes Trucker Ball Cap giving you the best of both worlds. This cap will be available in four colors and will be released in Japan at Undefeated stores on March 8th.
As one of the few purveyors of streetwear in China, MESS has had the arduous task of raising the profile and educating.
