SOREL Hides Maharishi’s Bonsai Tigerstripe Camo Inside the Daystorm Horizon ZIP GTX Boot

SOREL and Maharishi have joined forces on the Daystorm Horizon ZIP GTX, adding Maharishi’s camouflage-focused outlook to SOREL’s all-weather boot.
The base keeps the technical backbone that defines the model: a GORE-TEX waterproof build, durable canvas and SOREL’s sculpted rubber toe cap, which has five debossed finger-like ridges across the front. On top of that, Maharishi applies its Pacifist Military Design approach, drawing on three decades of studying camouflage, army gear and utilitarian clothing.
The upper pairs olive green canvas with a black, duck boot-style rubber lower, set on a lugged Vibram outsole for grip on wet and uneven ground. A central zip makes the boot easy to get on and off. Over it sits a removable olive leather shroud, framed by military-style lacing that uses thick, coiled olive cord threaded through metal eyelets.
Maharishi’s DPM: Bonsai Tigerstripe, an update of the classic Vietnam-era Tigerstripe pattern appears in tan, brown and black on the tongue and inner collar. It stays hidden under the olive canvas until the zip is open. The branding is understated and mostly debossed. A tombstone-shaped olive leather patch on the heel carries the Maharishi emblem and wordmark. A slim “MAHARISHI” tab runs along the zip shroud, and SOREL’s name is pressed into the black rubber heel counter next to a small GORE-TEX tag. The only real color comes from Vibram’s yellow logos on the sidewall and outsole, a small break from the green and black palette.
