8BitDo has opened pre-orders for the Arcade Controller Pro, a button-only leverless gamepad engineered for competitive fighting game players. Priced at $119.99 USD, the device costs $30 USD more than the original 8BitDo Arcade Controller, which debuted at $89.99 USD. US buyers can lock in pre-orders through Amazon, while international customers can order directly via the 8BitDo eShop. Shipping begins worldwide on November 30.
Built for competitive execution, the Arcade Controller Pro features a tighter, more compact layout than the original iteration. Smaller buttons and narrower spacing alter physical input dynamics, while five programmable buttons allow players to configure custom control schemes. 8BitDo equipped the deck with a built-in 1.47-inch display. This screen functions as a digital command center for custom button mapping, real-time input monitoring and on-the-fly RGB lighting adjustments.
Ergonomics and modular customization support extended play sessions. The Arcade Controller Pro includes a specialized wrist rest that attaches magnetically to the bottom of the device. Players can open the wrist rest to access a storage compartment holding five extra button caps, which change the feel of physical inputs. A 3,000mAh battery powers the system and requires four hours to recharge. Two color options are available: N Edition and White.
The launch coincides with 8BitDo serving as the presenting sponsor for Street Fighter League Americas and Street Fighter League EMEAA 2026.
