Drawing inspiration from a night spent among the shifting, sun-warmed dunes of Liwa in the Persian Gulf, perfumer Francis Kurkdjian translated the tactile sensuality of desert sand into an enveloping olfactory caress. The composition builds a bridge between Eastern heritage and French perfumery by pairing the untamed, animalic richness of raw oud wood with a joyful, textured peach note. Complemented by the leathery, apricot facets of osmanthus and a supple suede accord, the fragrance creates an intimate “bare skin” effect — evoking a mood of quiet opulence, vast horizons, and lingering warmth.
Reflecting the dark, mysterious depths of the scent, the bottle is crafted in a signature square silhouette made of dark, tinted crystal with sharply cut facets.
