At Galaxy Unpacked 2026, Samsung unveiled its most comprehensive foldable smartphone lineup to date, led by the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8. Each model is designed around distinct user experiences — Fold8 for immersive discovery, Fold8 Ultra for maximum productivity and Flip8 for expressive, on‑the‑go interaction.
The Fold8 Ultra features an expansive 8‑inch display, a 200 MP camera system, and a slimmer design for professional‑grade multitasking. Meanwhile, the Fold8 delivers intuitive display ratios optimized for reading, gaming, and streaming, while the Flip8 reimagines FlexWindow as an AI‑native interface for quick interactions and personalized expression. All three devices are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, ensuring smooth performance and long battery life.
Samsung also revealed the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9, expanding its AI‑driven health ecosystem. The Ultra2 is purpose‑built for extreme outdoor performance, featuring a rugged titanium casing, a massive 800 mAh battery, and the world’s brightest smartwatch display at 5,000 nits. Specialized sports tracking includes Trail Run mode with elevation and hydration guidance, plus dive‑ready certification developed with Mares for professional underwater use. The slimmer design and lighter bands enhance comfort, making it suitable for both adventure and everyday wear.
The Galaxy Watch9 focuses on everyday wellness, offering continuous activity and sleep tracking in a lightweight aluminum body with a refined cushion silhouette. Powered by the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform, it delivers seamless monitoring with a 390 mAh battery and a 3,000‑nit display for clear visibility in any environment. Both watches integrate Samsung’s AI‑powered health intelligence, including features like Sleep Apnea detection, Heart Health Score, Daily Cardio Load, and Fitness Index, turning biometric data into actionable guidance.
