Attaquer Debuts Signature OrbKnit™ Tech in New Limited Kappa Collection
Crafted with premium fabrics, this collaborative range honors historic race teams while delivering modern, everyday on-bike functionality.
Attaquer and Kappa have reunited for the second chapter of their global partnership, blending high-performance cycling gear with the distinct attitude of football culture. Since its inception, Attaquer has focused on changing how cycling clothing looks and feels by bringing a street-inspired aesthetic to the sport. The brand frequently teams up with influential names across fashion and design to push cycling past its traditional athletic boundaries. Driven by a focus on innovation, Attaquer continues to redefine what modern cycling apparel can be, bringing together custom engineering with Kappa’s deep sporting heritage.
Building on one of Attaquer’s most celebrated innovations, this release introduces OrbKnit™ technology into a limited collection for the first time. Engineered using advanced seamless knitting to deliver targeted compression, breathability and unrestricted movement, the OrbKnit™ features in short-sleeve white and long-sleeve black options for both men and women. This specialized fabric serves as the central pillar of the performance lineup, taking the core product for performance directly into the limited release space without sacrificing on-bike functionality.
The design inspiration draws directly from Kappa’s cycling archives and the distinctive look of early-2000s racing teams. Entirely made in Italy, the technical garments include core pieces like race bib shorts and a winter long-sleeve base layer. To easily transition from a ride to casual settings, the capsule also includes streetwear-inspired lifestyle apparel. Pieces like the graphic Spider tee, Outline shirts, a dedicated football jersey, and a lightweight mesh muscle undershirt ensure the collection feels natural off the bike.
To celebrate the release, Attaquer and Kappa are hosting a community launch ride through the streets of Berlin, concluding with post-ride drinks. Anyone looking to join can find full event details on the Attaquer website and through their Strava Club. The limited collection drops online exclusively at attaquercycling.com on August 6, 2026, launching globally at 5 a.m. AEST.
