If you haven’t already heard, gnuhr + norda = gnorda. We previously sat down with gnuhr founder Nur Abbas to chat through the new partnership that was revealed during Paris Fashion Week and now it’s nearly time for it to drop. Alongside the eight-piece apparel lineup is two footwear offerings: the 002 and the 008.
We took to the mountains and dunes of Peru to capture a closer look at the upcoming gnorda footwear. Looking first at the 002, the “world’s most responsive trail running shoe,” it comes in a rich brown that forgoes its typical reflective linework in favor of a streamlined build that matches gnuhr’s ethos of doing more and more with less and less. Co-branding is visible at the lateral midfoot and sockliner while a Vibram-based sole unit supports each step. As for the 008 recovery slide, it dons a bright baby blue. A tonal norda wordmark is visible at the lateral portion of the strap while a huge gnorda logo strikes the footbed.
For those looking to shop gnuhr and norda’s new footwear, the 002 and 008 are both set to drop alongside the rest of the gnorda line tomorrow, January 29, at 12pm EST via gnuhr and norda. The 002 shoe is priced at $295 USD while the 008 slide will cost $145 USD.
