  • The anime will premiere January 11, 2026, in Japan, followed by a global simulcast via Prime Video, Netflix and Lemino

The latest trailer for Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku Season 2 has been released, offering fans a look at the upcoming arc while also previewing the anime’s new ending theme song.

The promotional clip provides a visceral glimpse at the escalating chaos on the mysterious Shinsenkyo island, as the surviving convicts and Yamada Asaemon executioners face increasingly lethal threats from the island’s supernatural inhabitants. Adapted from Yuji Kaku’s manga, which has surpassed 6.4 million copies in circulation, the anime is produced by MAPPA with direction by Kaori Makita.

Building on the success of Season 1, the new installment promises deeper character conflicts and expanded world‑building, as the shogunate orders additional landings on the island of immortals. Japanese alternative pop group, QUEEN BEE will be contributing “PERSONAL” as the series’s new ending theme song, joining Tatsuya Kitani feat. BABYMETAL’s opening theme “Kasuka na Hana.”

Season 2 of Hell’s Paradise will premiere on January 11, 2026, in Japan, followed by a simulcast on Prime Video, Netflix and Lemino for international viewers.
