Update: We reported on a rumored Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 “Denim” sneaker back in May. Since then, the denim specialists have teamed up with Nike on other sneakers like the Air Max 95 and Air Force 3 Low. Now, we finally have a first look at the rumored Air Jordan 3 thanks to Spike Lee, who was pictured rocking the unreleased sneaker in one of the places you can most often find him in November: courtside at a New York Knicks game.
The limited preview of the pair sees it don an indigo-colored denim upper with various blue hues spread throughout the upper alongside elephant print and a Levi’s tag. White Nike Air branding is visible at the heel, matching the midsole, while red Jumpman branding is included at the tongue. Levi’s, while only working with the Jumpman team a few times over the years, is a major one, not only putting together three beloved takes on the Air Jordan 4 in 2018, but by presenting the first Air Jordan 1 collab in 2008 as well.

The sneaker insiders have indicated that a Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 will be arriving early in the new year. While we lack a physical preview of the pair, a speculative mock-up gives an idea as to what its “Denim,” “Black,” and “Sail” composition may end up looking like.
At the time of writing, neither Levi’s nor Jordan Brand have confirmed that they have a new “Denim” version of the Air Jordan 3 coming next year.
