Following the official reveal of the Nike Kobe 8 Protro “What The,” Nike is building on the momentum with an equally expressive apparel collection. The “What The Kobe?” capsule lands just in time for Mamba Day, celebrating Kobe Bryant’s enduring legacy through bold designs, premium details and head-to-toe tribute pieces. The collection pulls from some of Kobe’s most iconic sneaker colorways, blending them into a vivid patchwork that celebrates the Black Mamba’s legendary influence both on and off the court. Each piece combines premium materials with high-energy visuals for a dynamic tribute.

Leading the lineup is the Nike Dri-FIT Reversible Jersey, built with breathable mesh and sweat-wicking technology for peak performance. One side features a classic black design, while the reverse showcases the energetic “What The” print. A neon “8” on the front and a bold red “24” on the back pay homage to Kobe’s two iconic jersey numbers. Complementing the jersey are the Dri-FIT Reversible Basketball Shorts, which deliver the same performance-driven construction with a dual-sided design – vibrant colors on one side and sleek black on the other. The collection’s centerpiece is the premium “What The” Basketball, drenched in the same kaleidoscope of colors seen throughout the apparel. It features a snakeskin-textured surface and comes packaged with a ball stand and special box – making it a true collector’s item that rounds out the on-court aesthetic.

For off-court moments, the Nike Therma-FIT Pullover Hoodie delivers cozy, functional comfort with its dual-layer construction, multicolored drawcords, patterned hood lining and the signature “What The” Sheath logo at the chest. The two standout T-shirts – one in vibrant red and the other in electric purple – feature the graphics as the hoodie, tying the off-court look together with a unified Mamba aesthetic.

The “What The Kobe?” collection releases on April 13 via Nike’s website, with prices ranging from $90 to $150 USD.
