Korean streetwear label thisisneverthat has unveiled its inaugural collaboration with Disney for a collection honoring the original Mickey Mouse mascot introduced in 1928.
The collaborator’s showcase the nostalgic lineup in the style of a vintage catalog, complete with a grainy texture and scratches applied to the photography. Classic Disney merch places the vintage Mickey Mouse illustration at the center, while more contemporary variants juxtapose the brand’s word mark with a Mickey in a jumping pose. Other tees incorporate the Mickey icon into a Warhol like composition and striped tees show Mickey stitched onto the breast. For casual bottoms thisisneverthat leans more expressive with a technicolor printed pair of shorts and a duo of Mickey covered sweats.
Elsewhere, thisisneverthat offers more discreet options including a pair a of brown corduroy trousers, which only show a Mickey pattern within the lining and black zip-up jacket featuring just a few small Mickey appliques. The collection is completed with a line-up of accessories including embroidered bags, vintage baseball hats, jacquard socks, and embroidered bucket hats. Finally, small collectibles including a reworked Mickey plush toy and an enamel keychain top off the collection with unique keepsakes.
