Pigmentarium Presents Its Latest Perfume "BRUTAL"
Paying tribute to the “bold, expressive, and visionary style of perfumers from the 1970s and 1980s.”

Pigmentarium has announced that it will release a new fragrance, “BRUTAL,” on March 20. The fragrance pays tribute to the “bold, expressive, and visionary style of perfumers from the 1970s and 1980s.”
The creator behind the new fragrance is French perfumer Théo Belmas, who, throughout 2024, worked alongside the Pigmentarium creative team to encapsulate the unique olfactory essence of the 1970s and 1980s. Pigmentarium describes this era as “monumental” and “boundary-pushing,” and this is exactly what its latest fragrance encapsulates. The scent takes inspiration from raw materials, geometric patterns, and the deliberate contrast between austere exteriors and the warm richness of glass, metal, and wood.
Additionally, “BRUTAL” leans into the 70s and 80s by leaning into inspiration that takes from the scents of tuberose and tobacco, with its top notes embodying speckles of orange blossom, negroni accord, and black coffee. Meanwhile, the base notes complement this with scents of DeLaire, amber, and sandalwood.
