Magliano‘s Fall/Winter 2024 “Wardrobe for a Man in Love” campaign pushes the boundaries of traditional menswear with a bold exploration of gender fluidity and self-expression. Through a series of striking images by photographer Camille Vivier, she captures the collection’s essence in both color and monochrome, evoking a vibe that’s reminiscent of the vintage images one may come across from an intimate photo album.

The campaign features an eclectic cast in a range of settings. In one shot,  an older gentleman looks bored while sporting a party hat and skull-print shirt ensemble, while in another, a much more youthful model full embodies Grandma-chic in a scruffy-looking kitty sweater. This diverse representation of cast underscores Magliano’s commitment to inclusivity and challenging fashion norms.

Drawing inspiration from powerful women such as feminist poet Patrizia Cavalli and actress Anna Magnani, designer Luca Magliano infuses classic menswear silhouettes with feminine elements. The result is a collection that defies binary categorization, embracing what Magliano calls as a “new neutral” that speaks to queer identities and culture.

Styled by Elisa Voto, the pieces are deconstructed and reimagined, creating a sense of fluidity and playfulness. The campaign’s overall vibe is one of rebellion against societal expectations, inviting viewers to question preconceived notions of masculinity and fashion.
