Casio Releases the 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Oceanus Wristwatch
Sporting a radiant blue look with golden accents.
As Casio continues its 50th Anniversary celebration, a new limited-edition timepiece has been unveiled: the Casio Oceanus Manta OCWS7000SS2A.
Aesthetics-wise the OCWS7000SS2A timepiece follows the same vein as the five new “Sky and Sea” models that were revealed in May. Sporting a radiant blue bezel and dial imbued with golden accents, this special timepiece evokes a mood that symbolizes both its theme, history as well as future endeavors.
Crafted in Japan, the watch features a titanium exterior with DLC coating. Its dial ring nods to the Casiotron design, while its scratch-resistant bezel is incorporated with sapphire glass that underwent a vapor deposition process, giving it its vivid blue hue.
Living up to its name in functionality, the timepiece provides 10 ATM of water resistance and is solar-powered. Accompanying the timepiece is a matching metal bracelet that completes its sports look.
With a price point of $1,800 USD, the OCWS7000SS2A is now officially released on Casio’s website.
