New Mobb Deep music produced by The Alchemist is in the works.

The news was confirmed by both Alc and surviving Mobb Deep member Havoc, both of whom took to Instagram to tease unreleased music. Both videos see the pair in The Alchemist’s studio, with Havoc stating, “New Mobb Deep coming soon. R.I.P. Prodigy.” He then points the camera to the producer in the back ground and continued, “You already know what it is. Mobb Deep coming soon, baby. Infinite.” Meanwhile, Alc’s brief video hears his new production and sees Havoc in the studio with the caption “And it begins.”

The hip-hop duo’s last studio album dates back to 2014’s The Infamous Mobb Deep, which also featured work from Alc and was released after a short delay due to a brief falling out between the pair. Their upcoming project reunites the group with the producer and will mark one of Mobb Deep’s first new releases since Prodigy’s death in 2017.

Watch the videos below and stay tuned for an official announcement.
