Suntory's Canned Premium Highball Hakushu Celebrates Its 100-Year Whisky History
Featuring the single malt spirit regarded as one of Japan’s finest.
Celebrating its 100-year whisky history and the 50th anniversary of the Hakushu distillery, Suntory is now introducing a canned cocktail utilizing its beloved Hakushu spirit. Back in 2021, Suntory brought back Hakushu 12-Year Whisky after a two-year drought, after the single malt was regarded as one of Japan’s finest.
Described as “the verdant Japanese whisky,” the spirit is produced at Suntory’s Hakushu distillery in the forests at the foot of Mt. Kaikomagatake in Japan’s southern alps. The unique quality of the whisky is brought on by the mountain water and air of the region.
To be enjoyed straight from the can or in a glass over ice, Suntory’s Premium Highball Hakushu captures the smokey fragrance and subtly fruity taste of the single malt.
Priced at ¥600 JPY ($4.65 USD), the 350 ml Suntory Premium Highball Hakushu canned cocktail is set to go on sale June 6 for a limited-time-only.
