Knife and cutlery expert Schmidt Brothers has released a new seven-piece Jet Black knife set for looking to cook with a bit of style.

Combining both form and function, the set features six different knives all constructed out of German stainless steel before receiving a matte black titanium coating — a material the brand says is also used on F-15 fighter jets. Each blade is complemented by black ergonomic handles and the company’s patented Curve design, allowing for smooth and uninterrupted cuts and chops.

The six knives include an 8.5-inch bread knife, an 8-inch chef knife, a 7-inch Santoku knife, a 6-inch serrated tomato knife, a 5-inch utility knife and a 4-inch paring knife, covering pretty much all your needs for home cooking. Completing the set is an ebony-stained red oak block with acrylic display panels so you can show off this sleek set during dinner parties.

For those interested, the seven-piece Jet Black set is now available over on Schmidt Brothers’ website, retailing for $150 USD.

Elsewhere in design, RIMOWA has also launched a “Matte Black” colorway for its classic line.
