Patta Modifies Umbro’s Classic Inter Milan Away Jersey
The next chapter in the brand’s ongoing collaboration with the British sports brand.
Patta has followed up its recent New Balance footwear collaboration with the latest instalment of its ongoing work with British sports brand Umbro. Utilising its appreciation for 90s designs, this forthcoming release sees Patta rework Inter Milan’s UEFA Cup winning 1993/94 away jersey.
Traditionally sticking to an all-white away strip, it was Umbro — a brand at the forefront of jersey designs in the 90s — who decided to implement the sash for the first time on an Inter Milan strip. Ensuring the original classic details like the heavy acrylic finish and the typically 90s cut remained, Patta has given the shirt a makeover by replacing the original sponsor with the Dutch brand’s logo.
The accompanying lookbook features a host of local heroes and Inter Milan fans, alongside former Interista and Italy midfielder Nicola Berti, who was a part of the triumphant 93/94 team.
The Patta x Umbro ’93-’94 Inter Away Jersey will be available in-store at Patta Amsterdam, London, Milan on September 25, 13:00 CEST, while early access on September 23 will be available via the Patta app.
