Reebok Introduces New Sole Fury Sneakers
Incorporating the brand’s signature split cushioning technology.
Reebok is taking its split cushioning technology to the next level. Originally introduced in the early ’90s, the sportswear giant decided to break away from conventional footwear at the time and introduce a split sole, which resulted in lighter, more flexible shoe. The design was unique and gave the sneaker a bold look that’s still replicated nearly 25 years later. Reebok is now aiming to advance the game-changing technology with the upcoming Sole Fury model.
The brand has tapped photographers and filmmakers Marcus Hyde, Tyler Ross, Jahleel Weaver, Matthew Adams Dolan, collective DISCWOMAN, and Jeremiah Maestre to capture the upcoming campaign, whom have also “split” from their traditional paths and embraced the theme of pushing boundaries. Take a look at some of the stories from the creatives above.
The new Sole Fury with split cushioning tech is slated to release at Reebok on Nov. 8. In other news, retailer Sneakersnstuff recently collaborated with Reebok to revamp the DMX Run 10 for its 10th anniversary.
