Summary

TEATORA and BEAMS have built a two-piece collaboration around the Cartridge Shirt and Wallet Pants Resort, dressing both in an original Tiger Camo pattern

The pieces use TEATORA's HOVER LAYER fabric, engineered for near-weightless lightness alongside efficient heat dissipation

The collaboration marks the first time a TEATORA special-order has adopted a print, a departure from the label's minimalist, pattern-free norm

TEATORA and BEAMS have joined forces on a two-piece capsule that reworks the Cartridge Shirt and Wallet Pants Resort, two of TEATORA’s signature functional models, in an original Tiger Camo. Realized to mark BEAMS’s 50th anniversary, the collaboration keeps TEATORA’s engineering intact while layering in a graphic treatment the label has never applied to a special-order before.

Both pieces are cut from TEATORA’s HOVER LAYER series, a fabric developed around a concept of near-weightless lightness. Beyond that extreme low mass, the material is built to manage heat, venting warmth that collects inside the garment so the wearer stays comfortable across changing conditions. That combination of minimal weight and active thermal release is the technical backbone of the capsule, and it is what carries the two silhouettes from ordinary travel wear into something more considered.

The Cartridge Shirt is engineered around the realities of moving with luggage. It is designed to pack down efficiently into a suitcase and to dry quickly after washing, two properties that make it a practical carry for anyone living out of a bag. The Wallet Pants Resort, meanwhile, is built with storage and security in mind, structured to hold valuables close and safe rather than loose in an exposed pocket. Both models translate function into quiet, purpose-led construction rather than visible hardware.

What sets this release apart is the pattern itself. BEAMS created the original Tiger Camouflage specifically for the project and ran it across the full surface of each piece, giving TEATORA’s characteristically minimal products a new expression. Applying a print to a TEATORA special-order for the first time is the collaboration’s headline gesture, a way for BEAMS to fold its own fashion sensibility into a label better known for restraint. Both the Cartridge Shirt and the Wallet Pants Resort arrive exclusively in the Tiger Camo colorway.

The TEATORA x BEAMS collection drops Saturday, August 1, at BEAMS Harajuku, BEAMS Men Shibuya, BEAMS Roppongi Hills and BEAMS Japan (Shinjuku), among other locations, as well as the official BEAMS online store and TEATORA Sendagaya.
