In partnership with Visa
Soccer has taken over SoHo in NYC this summer, and the final stop of the global Hypebeast Cup tour has turned 430 West Broadway into a hub for fans looking to experience the game beyond the pitch.
Running through July 19, the pop-up brings together soccer, style, and community with a lineup of interactive activations, exclusive merchandise, and spaces designed for people to linger rather than simply pass through. Throughout it all, Visa helps shape the experience as the event’s official payment partner with its “Tap In” campaign woven throughout the clubhouse.
Inspired by one of soccer’s simplest yet most rewarding moments, Visa’s “Tap In” campaign celebrates the satisfaction of an easy finish. The same idea carries throughout the space, where custom LED displays, interactive installations, and playful challenges encourage visitors to get involved and enjoy the small victories that make the game so exciting.
One of the first stops for many guests is the custom-built soccer simulator. Inside the enclosed turf pitch, players get three attempts to beat a moving digital goalkeeper while aiming for point-scoring targets inside the goal. Land a shot in the bottom zone for one point, the middle for two, or pick out the top corners for the maximum three points. It’s easy to learn, surprisingly competitive, and quickly becomes one of the busiest attractions inside the clubhouse.
Visually, the jersey balances simplicity and detail. A clean white base serves as the backdrop for black underarm paneling, a contrasting collared V-neck and vibrant red piping that runs along the raglan sleeves. Layered beneath those bold elements is an intricate tonal print that quietly textures the fabric without overwhelming the design.
The challenge doesn’t end when your three shots are over. Every goal scored feeds into Visa’s live “Tap In Goal Counter,” a digital display that tracks tap-in goals scored during this summer’s global tournament alongside those recorded inside the clubhouse. It’s a simple detail that connects the energy inside SoHo with the excitement unfolding across the world’s biggest soccer stage, giving every successful shot a small part to play in the bigger story.
Looking to test your skills? Visit the Hypebeast Cup Clubhouse before or on July 19 and see if you can top the Tap In Goal Counter yourself.
