NEEDLES and Japanese select retailer BEAVER have officially joined forces to deliver an exclusive version of the Shawl Collar Polo – Cotton Pique. Designed by Keizo Shimizu, the visionary founder of NEPENTHES, this collaborative summer-ready drop reimagines a classic wardrobe foundation with distinctive design adjustments tailored directly for modern styling rotations.
The joint project dramatically reworks the architecture of the traditional short-sleeve top by dropping conventional pointed collars altogether. In its place, the collaborative garment integrates a unique, curved shawl collar construction that delivers a clean and highly sophisticated casual drape. For its textile configuration, the piece implements a classic polo standard: premium cotton pique fabric.
