LEGO and Star Wars are expanding the Ultimate Collector Series with “The Mandalorian‘s N-1 Starfighter,” a technically precise 1,809-piece tribute to Din Djarin’s custom starship.
The engineering of the N-1 Starfighter centers on a significant departure from standard grey-brick construction. The model incorporates 53 metallic silver elements — specifically drum-lacquered bricks — to replicate the brushed chrome appearance of the vessel as seen in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. These specialized components are concentrated across the forward section and nose, providing a premium, screen-accurate finish that reflects light more realistically than traditional molded plastic.
Physically, the starfighter measures an impressive 67cm (26.5 in.) long, 39cm (15.5 in.) wide, and 21cm (8.5 in.) high. The internal structure leverages ball joints to connect the aerodynamic armor to a central frame, maintaining a strong yet organic shape that avoids panel sagging. Advanced Technic-led engineering is visible in the engines, which are linked to the wings with dual pins to reveal intricate, exposed mechanical details and missing panels that suggest the ship’s modified, “hot rod” nature.
The set is rounded out with a Mandalorian minifigure, featuring updated arm and leg printing, and a Grogu figure. For the final presentation, the starship sits on a sturdy black display stand that allows for two orientations: a side-on view to highlight the elongated fuselage or a forward-facing stance for an aggressive, action-ready aesthetic.
The LEGO UCS “The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter” drops May 1 via LEGO Insiders Early Access, with a general release following on May 4 via the LEGO webstore and at official retail stores.
