Automobili Amos Adds a SEASE Touch to New Team Rally Kit
Seeing racing uniforms and safari style collide.
Founded by brothers Franco and Giacomo Loro Piana, SEASE is rooted in designing garments for adventure-driven lifestyles. Having developed its blueprint through collections for tennis spectators and ski enthusiasts, the Italian label now delves into the world of motorsport as the official team sponsor of Automobili Amos.
In their first collaboration, SEASE crafts a new kit for the team’s forthcoming endurance races such as the Dakar Rally and East African Safari Rally in Kenya. Taking notes from Automobili Amos’ renowned resto-mod capabilities, the collection reveals a joint vision of craftsmanship where mechanical treatments are brought to life in the form of material innovation and technical design.
The Endurance Field Jacket and Endurance Suit exemplify this approach with the outer layers built from a laminated Solaro-inspired wool. Deriving from uniforms of the British Army, the material brings key durability to the garments as well as a utilitarian look. Elsewhere, the Race Jacket introduces the technical Alcantara fabric to the range, turning the traditional car interior material into a soft and supple alternative to leather suede.

With drivers set to race across the vast, sandy landscapes, a selection of garments – such as the Military shirt and Cargo Pants – take on an inherently safari-like quality with buckled details, squared pockets and earthy tones. The Safari Vest incorporates these features along with a quilted outer to offer wearers with a versatile mid-layer which also functions as a practical travel piece. Adding to this sentiment, SEASE drops several travel essentials, including a duffle bag and red-lensed sunglasses as well as a limited-edition watch with Italian brand UNIMATIC.
