Beda’a is broadening its emblematic Angles collection with two new striking iterations: the Angles Guichets. The new additions mark the line’s first foray into the guichet style. Releasing as a permanent and non-limited offering to the Angles collection, the new references substitute traditional hands and chapter rings for an elegant, dual-aperture display. Housed within the collection’s signature 37mm octagonal case – structured across three stepped levels with integrated lugs – the watch maintains a remarkably slim profile of just 6.3mm.
The defining feature of the Angles Guichets is its poetic day-night aperture system. The upper aperture displays the hours on a fixed scale, where the Sun and Moon slowly travel across the opening to indicate the passage of day and night in a 24-hour cycle. Below, a separate aperture is dedicated to the minutes, utilizing a fine arrow set flush with the dial to mark the reading point as the minute disc advances in five-minute increments. This entirely reworked, closed dial is embossed to follow the natural geometry of the case and is complemented by a custom-designed calfskin leather strap with a matching motif.
To power this unique 24-hour narrative, Beda’a utilized the celebrated hand-wound Peseux/ETA 7001 calibre. Working with a Swiss partner, the brand modified the gear train to run at half its usual speed, allowing for a full rotation every 24 hours while preserving a 42-hour power reserve.
Beda’a's Angles Guichets will officially debut during Geneva Watch Week 2026 in April and will be available in a stainless steel and a gold-plated stainless steel build, with a retail price of 1,800 CHF (approx. $2,249 USD).
