Cellutane is expanding its collaborative household lineup with the official release of the Koduck Bead Sofa/Psyduck Chair.
According to the long-standing Japanese manufacturer, this newly introduced piece of furniture brings the charming Pokémon into the living room. The oversized bead sofa is expertly crafted to capture Koduck’s signature physical traits, paying close attention to distinct design details like its iconic hair tufts, recognizable expression, and plump tail. Designed for both aesthetic appeal and everyday functionality, the piece features a supportive backrest and armrests for extended lounging sessions.
On the technical side, the seat is constructed using the brand’s proprietary “Sugobeads,” a specialized mixture of high-elasticity urethane foam and foamed polystyrene beads. This premium internal blend offers a highly stable, enveloping fit that comfortably molds to the user’s body while maintaining its playful exterior shape. Weighing approximately 10.0kg, the sofa is easy to maneuver around the house, and it comes equipped with a conveniently removable, machine-washable cover to ensure simple maintenance.
The Cellutane Koduck Bead Sofa/Psyduck Chair is available in Japan now via the Cellutane webstore.
