Y’s is continuing its long-standing partnership with New Era for the Spring/Summer 2026 season, delivering a comprehensive capsule that blends Yohji Yamamoto’s avant-garde DNA with authentic sportswear staples. Dropping this February, the collection focuses on nuanced textures and monochromatic palettes, featuring a diverse array of headwear, technical apparel, and high-capacity luggage. The SS26 range marks a milestone for the collaborators, introducing several silhouettes never before seen in their joint catalog while revisiting archival references that define their shared history.
Headwear remains the cornerstone of the drop, anchored by six distinct versions of the 9TWENTY cap. This season’s iterations utilize both intricate contrast stitching and rugged duck canvas fabrics to provide a durable yet sophisticated finish. Making its debut in the collaborative lineup is the Explorer Sailor Brim, a silhouette that leans into a maritime aesthetic further elevated by custom stitch-work. Additionally, the collection features a Gatsby-style casquette—a direct self-homage to the very first model Y’s and New Era ever produced together.
Beyond headwear, the collection introduces a selection of apparel including a heavyweight Sweat Full-Zip Hoodie and an Oversized Cotton Tee, both featuring the co-branded minimalist logo. For the first time, the duo has developed a Short Sleeve Rugger Polo, adding a touch of classic athletic heritage to the dark-toned wardrobe. The accessory range is rounded out by the Skateboard Urban Pack and the Field Waist Bag, both engineered for high-utility urban environments with reinforced construction and multi-compartment layouts.
