OutKast and the Atlanta Falcons have teamed up on the 30th Anniversary ATLiens Collection, a capsule celebrating the album’s milestone with team-ready apparel and accessories. Built around a black and neon green palette, the range fuses the duo’s imagery with Falcons branding across outerwear, fleece, jerseys, headwear and a helmet.
Released in 1996 as OutKast’s second studio album, ATLiens found André 3000 and Big Boi casting themselves as outsiders from another world, a sci-fi framing that pushed Southern hip-hop into stranger, more cosmic territory. Its comic book-style cover, which shows the pair drawn as heroes complete with a printed cover price, became one of the most recognizable pieces of art in the duo’s catalog. That artwork resurfaces throughout the collection, alongside the OutKast crown crest and the Falcons’ bird.
The centerpiece is a black varsity jacket with leather-style sleeves and snap buttons, embroidered with the OutKast crown on one side of the chest and the Falcons logo on the other. Its back carries the collection’s signature wordmark in neon green, where “ATL” is set in the team’s angular lettering with the falcon head built into the “A,” before trailing into the album’s looser handwritten “iens.” The same wordmark tops a black fitted cap and wraps the side of a matte black Riddell helmet, which also features a neon falcon decal, twin racing stripes and an OutKast crest at the rear.
Fleece and jersey pieces fill out the rest of the range. A bright green hoodie keeps things simple with a tonal black “ATLiens” embroidery across the chest and a small Falcons logo at the cuff, while a black hoodie and a black tee both reproduce the album’s comic artwork in full color with the wordmark beneath it. A black mesh football jersey, tagged by Mitchell & Ness, puts a neon “‘96” on the front and back, spells out “OUTKAST” across the shoulders and adds striped sleeve panels bearing both the OutKast crest and the falcon.
The campaign imagery leans fully into the album’s extraterrestrial theme, staging models beneath a UFO beaming light down over Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the Atlanta skyline. The timing underlines how firmly ATLiens remains tied to the city’s identity three decades on, arriving shortly after OutKast’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2025.
The OutKast x Atlanta Falcons 30th Anniversary ATLiens Collection launches Wednesday, October 21 via OutKast’s webstore, Fanatics, New Era, Mitchell & Ness, and Riddell. Fans can also shop it in person at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday, October 25, exclusively during the Atlanta Falcons vs. San Francisco 49ers game.
