Where F1 Drivers Eat, Stay and Unwind in Singapore

The Singapore Grand Prix is a city-wide takeover, and the drivers know exactly where to eat, shop and recover when the helmets come off.

When the 2025 FORMULA 1® SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX  drops into Singapore, the Marina Bay street circuit is only half the story. The other half plays out in hotels, restaurants and clubs across the city as part of a ten-day city-wide activation known as Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS), from September 26 to October 5.

Over the years, fans have clocked drivers everywhere from low-key lounges to rooftop bars, making Singapore one of the few races where the grid genuinely overlaps with everyday life.

During the non-stop buzz that surrounds GPSS, Orchard Road is one place that always stays busy. The shopping belt is well known and loved, making it a guaranteed sighting zone, with drivers and team staff slipping into boutiques between media calls and some teams even staying in nearby hotels. Luxury labels sit alongside sneaker flagship stores, and branded pop-ups regularly appear during GPSS.

This year, LEGO® will up the ante with a life-sized LEGO® Williams Racing FW16 F1 Race Car alongside race-themed activities, and TAG Heuer will be celebrating the Formula 1® Official Timekeeper’s motorsport heritage through an immersive experience. There will also be the Oracle Red Bull Racing Formula One show car display at ION Orchard.

Other global brands joining GPSS are Moët & Chandon, which will host the Elevation Lounge at the Bayfront Event Space. The French summer-inspired pop-up event will feature free hot air balloon rides, with entry won through a randomised draw. Adidas will also be there to showcase its first collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, presenting a Mercedes race car showcase at Raffles City, and exclusive merchandise and racing simulators at select stores islandwide.

Visitors to Singapore know where you stay is just as important as what you do. Marina Bay Sands is an official multi-year partner of the Ferrari Formula 1 team, with exclusive packages designed for fans to lock into the race season. The Ritz Carlton is another favourite, with panoramic views of the city and luxe suites, while Conrad Singapore Marina Bay is where guests might spot McLaren drivers and team staff at the breakfast buffet.

When it comes to where to eat, follow the racing crowds and you’ll stumble on something delicious. Last year, Lando Norris was seen dining at Zamas River Valley, a 24-hour Indian spot known for late-night prata and teh tarik. Sure, you can fill your nights with five-star dining, but sometimes the move for drivers and fans is comfort food at 2am. On top of restaurants, the city’s nightlife also has its own circuit. Amber Lounge remains the city’s most legendary party for drivers and VIPs. It’s exclusive, luxe and usually soundtracked by a lineup of international DJs and unforgettable entertainment. For anyone chasing the sport’s inner circle, this is where it happens.

The Formula 1 Paddock Club™ is the ultimate insider access. It’s trackside gastronomic dining, curated cocktails, live performances and a guestlist full of A-listers. An all-access pass gets you an exclusive spot on the Rooftop Viewing Terrace and daily Pit Lane Walk, including an up-close look at the F1 cars, garages and crew. For hardcore fans, this is one guaranteed way to meet your favourite drivers.

The ten-day GPSS program stretches beyond the Marina Bay circuit, combining live concerts, brand crossovers and exciting collaborations. Whether you’re heading over for this year’s season or locking in dates for 2026, it’s well worth exploring beyond the official track days. The race is the centrepiece, but the buzz around it is what makes Singapore one of the best spots on the tour.

Early bird tickets for the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix are live from October 13 on the website. Regular tickets go on sale from November 3.
