  • It continues Parker’s meticulous, experimental approach, building on the sound of “End of Summer”

Tame Impala, the visionary musical project of Kevin Parker, has unveiled “Loser,” the second song of a new era of music.

The single is accompanied by a music video directed by KRISTOFSKI and stars Stranger Things actor and musician Joe Keery/Djo. The new track continues Parker’s meticulous studio approach and his fearless exploration of rhythm and sonic experimentation.

“Loser” builds on the sprawling, drum-beat-heavy sound of the previously released song “End of Summer.” That track drew listeners back to the acid house summers and free parties of the past. With “Loser,” Parker continues his journey into new sonic territory, layering hypnotic rhythms and textures that move Tame Impala’s sound ever forward.
