Summary
- MAAP and Public Possession have a new, limited apparel drop
- Inspired by cycling and music, the collection blends on- and off-bike gear
- The collection is available now online and in select stores
In a unique collaboration that harmonizes athletic performance with a vibrant creative spirit, Melbourne-based cycling brand MAAP and Munich record company Public Possession are launching a limited apparel collection. The collection, conceived between two global cities, is inspired by the shared frequencies of movement and music.
The collection seamlessly blends on-bike technical gear with off-bike casual wear, combining MAAP’s advanced performance designs with Public Possession’s playful, genre-bending aesthetic. As Misha Glisovic, MAAP’s Chief Creative Officer, noted, the collaboration was born from the idea of blending cycling with Public Possession’s world of music, art, and design, “Public Possession blend music, parties, pasta, wine, art and design. At MAAP, we’re all huge fans of the record label and what they create. We wanted to see what happens when we throw cycling into the mix. Music + Bikes = Fun.” The result is a versatile collection that works just as well for a cross-town ride as it does for a night of record spinning.
The apparel includes a variety of tees, crewnecks, and hoodies, all in Public Possession’s signature relaxed, unisex fit. The on-bike gear features MAAP’s technical jerseys and bibs, along with accessories like water bottles and caps. The collaboration is available online at MAAP and Public Possession. For those visiting any MAAP LaB retail stores around the globe, fans can receive one of seven different limited edition MAAP x Public Possession prints while supplies last.
