Porsche has reunited with California-based Almond Surfboards for a second limited-edition collection, this time drawing inspiration from the iconic 1972 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7. The drop includes a custom 6-foot winged swallowtail surfboard, handmade in California and finished in Grand Prix White with a choice of Blue, Red, or Green racing accents—mirroring the original RS colorways. Only 72 boards will be produced, each retailing for $3,000 USD.
Beyond the surfboard, the collaboration features a capsule of laid-back apparel and accessories channeling Southern California surf culture and Porsche performance. The range includes tees ($75 USD), caps ($45 USD), a faded blue sweatshirt ($155), beach towels, boardshorts, canvas totes, hand-stitched surf flags and collectible items like a sticker set and model car. The full collection embodies the ethos: “Single Fins & Air Cooled Engines.”
“The Carrera RS 2.7 is one of the most celebrated 911s of all time,” said Karsten von Engeln, President & CEO of Porsche Design of America. “This partnership captures its spirit perfectly.” The collection is available now through the Porsche Online Shop, Porsche Design stores, select Porsche centers and Almond’s flagship in Costa Mesa.
