Summary

  • NAHMIAS’ Miracle Academy has launched its first individual collection as the brand’s athleisure sublabel
  • Miracle Academy partnered with NBA and Fanatics to release a collaborative capsule in homage to a handful of basketball teams
  • One of the t-shirts Timothée Chalamet wore to the Eastern Conference Finals is included in the drop

After Chrome Hearts, NAHMIAS was Timothée Chalamet‘s courtside clothing brand of choice for cheering on his New York Knicks.

As part of the first full-length NAHMIAS Miracle Academy release, the brand’s now-official athleisure sublabel is set to unveil the full Miracle Academy x Fanatics x NBA collaborative collection this weekend at Fanatics Fest in New York City – and it consists of the co-branded, collegiate tee that Chalamet donned to Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

“Miracle Academy” has long been a slogan NAHMIAS has stamped on their garments, but this marks the first distinct drop from the brand. A press release differentiates the new sublabel from its mainline label in that Miracle Academy, specifically, is “built around the core values of sport, community, and self-belief” and seeks to “retains the spirit of Doni Nahmias’ coastal vision while widening the lens to include the next generation of dreamers and athletes.”

Spanning sweatshirts, sweatpants, basketball shorts, and tees, the debut Miracle Academy drop sees the rookie outfitter team with a handful of fan-favorite NBA teams to print their logos and lettering on a selection of soft, co-branded garments. The entirety of the apparel is simplistic in design, relying both on the brand’s chill Californian mentality and consistent stream of cosigns from Chalamet as its selling point.

In addition to the Knicks, Miracle Academy partnered with the Golden State Warriors, Oklahoma City Thunder, Denver Nuggets, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers, Indiana Fever, Chicago Bulls and the Brooklyn Nets – as well as WNBA team New York Liberty.

Take a closer look at the courtside-ready collaborative release in the lookbook above and expect it to debut at NYC’s Fanatics Fest on Friday, June 20, followed by an online release at all partners’ webstores on June 23.
