The Canoe Moc Tie emerges from Rancourt & Co.’s decades-long specialization in moccasin production since its birth in Maine in 1964. The elegant pair features a deep burnished calfskin upper with a classic leather sole. Braided leather shoelace that continues along the collar, emphasizing the craft-forward and coastal inspirations. Each shoe is carefully hand-sewn by skilled artisans, giving the final product a meticulous quality incomparable to machine stitching.
Moccasins, Boat Shoes, Loafers, and the like are staples of New England style, showing up with particular prominence in the 20th century with the emergence of prep and Ivy style codes.
