Following the debut of the GEL-SEKIRAN sneaker earlier this year, ASICS is now preparing to enrich this refreshing series with new, summer-ready hues. The latest unveiling introduces two brightly colored additions: “Green Gecko” and “Bright Rose.”
Both models are dressed in striking, neon-esque palettes. Each variant features its titular hue as the main color, complemented by “Pure Silver” overlays and ASICS stripes. The “Green Gecko” variant sports a bold neon green base, further accentuated with dark pine green detailing. Meanwhile, “Bright Rose” is doused in an intense rosy red hue and complemented by vibrant orange accents for a dynamic and eye-catching contrast.
The GEL-SEKIRAN sneaker itself fuses elements from ASICS’ renowned running silhouettes from the 2000s and 2010s, including the GEL-NIMBUS 13, GEL-CUMULUS 12 and GEL-CUMULUS 17. Key design cues from these models are integrated into its mesh upper and structured overlays, while its midsole incorporates the GEL-CUMULUS 17’s tooling system.
