The Spring/Summer 2025 collaboration between Our Legacy WORK SHOP and Emporio Armani sees the return of their unique partnership, building on their initial collaboration from 2023 with a fresh collection that also introduces womenswear for the first time.
The collection draws heavily from the Emporio Armani archives, with familiar elements being reinterpreted through the distinct lens of Our Legacy WORK SHOP. Many pieces utilize original Armani fabrics and trims, reimagining these enduring materials in a contemporary context. Additionally, some items feature recreated vintage Armani fabrics developed exclusively by Our Legacy for this project, emphasizing the history and potential of existing textiles.
Subtle nods to traditional East Asian attire are woven throughout the collection, seen in details like collarless shirts and kimono-inspired robe coats. The overall aesthetic evokes a sense of relaxed summer escape, with references to hotel bathrobes and slippers contributing to an unhurried and sun-soaked vibe. The campaign is photographed by Alasdair McLellan on Pantelleria, a remote volcanic island in the Mediterranean and a long-time personal retreat for Giorgio Armani.
The collection will be available starting May 16, with special installations at select Armani and Dover Street Market locations, as well as at Our Legacy stores and online.
