Erick The Architect has lifted the curtain on his latest sonic endeavor. The founding Flatbush Zombies talent took to Instagram earlier in the week to announce that he has a new EP dropping at the end of this week. The surprise new project lands as a three-song pack entitled ARCSTRUMENTALS 3, which is officially due out this Friday.
“ARCSTRUMENTALS 3 TOUCHES DOWN MAY 16th 🚨🚨🚨 , i’m giving you 3 jams that will certainly have your feet moving for the summer ☀️,” the rapper shared in the Instagram post, breaking the news of the R&B-heavy, dance-inspired delivery. “i know the world is weird af globally, but plz don’t forget to dance 🪩.”
The first track – out today – is entitled “REVIVAL” and feature lyrical contributions from Joyce Wrice and instrumentals from Andre Cleghorn, Stephen Hall, Marc Malsegna and John Egizi. Track two, dubbed “Lunchin’” is a solo endeavor from The Architect, bolstered by instrumentals from the aforementioned lineup of contributors as well as William Wormald and Andy Bauer. Closing it out comes “All That I Need” with assistance from Hailé Supreme on lyrics and Ruben-Dario Gallego II on bass.
Crafted over the past year in the musician’s Los Angeles studio, ARCSTRUMENTALS 3 also continues to expand the groundwork laid on his debut solo album I’ve Never Been Here Before.
